If you regularly require a wheelchair space and essential companion seat, we would love to show you how to book them online, yourself. Call the box office on 01482 323638, or email firstname.lastname@example.org, and we’ll set this function up and give you some simple instructions.
If you already have the facility set up and need a reminder about how to book, you can find downloadable instructions here (PDF).
The Heron Theatre
There are four wheelchair spaces in The Heron. One on each end of row A in the centre block and one on the end of row A on each side block. Depending on the show, an additional two wheelchair spaces can be created at the back of the centre block, in the middle of row L. Wheelchair spaces are identified with the universal wheelchair symbol. Essential Companion seats are identified with the letter C.
There are two wheelchair spaces in the Studio Theatre. One on each end of row A.
Depending on the show, an additional wheelchair space can be created on the end of row L.
Wheelchair spaces are bookable by calling the box office or popping in to the theatre. We are excited to announce that Wheelchair and Essential Companion tickets can now be booked online.
If you require transport to and from the theatre we recommend City Cabs (Wheelchair Transport) who deal specifically with wheelchair users who cannot transfer from their chair in to a taxi. Please contact them on 01482 474645 or book via their Facebook page.
I used the online booking to book myself, wheelchair user and carer tickets online which was fab, I wish more companies would embrace your way of allowing wheelchairs to be booked online.
