Join us for our annual Family Open Day on Saturday 11 May, brought to you by Hull Truck Theatre and the Albemarle Music Centre.

This is an amazing opportunity for you to get a behind-the-scenes look at two of Hull's most iconic cultural venues.

At Hull Truck Theatre, you can explore how a show comes to life, see backstage, get involved in sound and lighting demonstrations, and learn about our commitment to being a welcoming home for visitors.

There will be plenty of other activities too, like arts and crafts, face painting, storytelling sessions, theatre tours (limited places available), and even a dress-up photobooth. And for the really little ones, there will be a dedicated soft play area for children under 3.

The Albemarle Music Centre will be putting music at the heart of their activities, with performances, drum workshops as well as hip-hop and DJing. Families can try out lots of different instruments and join in throughout the day.

We want this day to be all about kindness, being a good neighbour, and creating a more welcoming and inclusive community. So, let's come together and promote small acts of kindness that can make a big difference.
