Family Open Day Tours
PLEASE NOTE: If the tour time you would like is sold out online, please feel free to turn up on the day and if we have any returns/spare places we will offer them to walk in customers.

Join us on a tour of Hull Truck Theatre at our Family Open Day, where you can explore backstage and catch a glimpse of the inner workings of the theatre.
You will have the opportunity to stand in the wings and get an actor’s view of the auditorium, see the dressing rooms, wardrobe, green room and rehearsal room and get involved in activities such as sound and lighting demonstrations to gain further insight into essential roles of theatre design.
The best part is that the tours are free, but you can make an optional donation of £5 to support the theatre.
Please note that you should be at the Ground Floor meeting point at least 5 minutes before the advertised tour time, to ensure you don't miss your chance to get a sneak-peak behind the scenes. If you arrive later than the scheduled time, your tickets may be offered to walk-in customers.
Tour times – 11.15am, 12noon, 12.45pm, 1.30pm* and 2.15pm.
Tours are free with an optional £5 donation.
*The 1.30pm tour will be BSL Interpreted and spaces are currently reserved for BSL Users. If you would benefit from a BSL Interpreted tour please email boxoffice@hulltruck.co.uk to reserve place/s. You can also book places via Sarah at Hull Deaf Centre.
