Consequences: Meet Laura
Hullensian Laura returns to Hull Truck Theatre as Jamie in Consequences. As an alumni of Hull Truck Youth Theatre, you may recognise her from Our Mutual Friend by Tom Bellerby, performed in 2017 as part of City of Culture celebrations.
Since then she has obtained her BA in Acting from Arts Educational Schools in London, winning a Sir John Gielgud Charitable Trust Award in 2018. Following her graduation, she has appeared on television with roles in BBC's Casualty and Sky One's Cobra.

LM - Hi, I'm Laura, and I play Jamie Middleton.
Q - Describe your character in three words.
LM - If I was to describe Jamie in three words, I would say she's resilient, honest, and loyal.
Q - What has been the best thing about working digitally on this project?
LM - The best thing about working digitally on this project is the number of people, schools, community groups we were able to reach. More than if we weren't doing this virtually. And I love hearing from so many wonderful and creative minds.
Q - What is the first thing you are going to do after lockdown?
LM - The first thing I'm gonna do post-lockdown is go to the hairdressers, because I'm not a natural blonde, and people are becoming all too aware of that.
