Play in a Week: The Forgotten YearBuy tickets
Do you enjoying making theatre, acting, writing and all things creative? Do you want to perform in an original piece of theatre?
Imagine that the last year didn’t happen at all. In The Forgotten Years.. that’s exactly what happens! A young person awakes after a 12-month sleep and is immediately met by a world that didn’t look the way it did in 2019..
Over the week you will develop your skills as a theatre maker, you will create interesting characters and dialogue, you will learn key skills of acting and you will finish the week by performing your brand new play to an audience of parents, families and friends!
The project takes place Monday 9th August to Friday 13th August 2021, 9am – 3.30pm, every day at Hull Truck Theatre.
Cost for the week is £60 per participant. This project is for any young person aged 12 -16.
Your confirmation email will act as your ticket. You DO NOT need an e-ticket or to collect a physical ticket from the Box Office.
Children will need to be dropped off and collected each day by an adult in our main foyer. Please arrive 10 minutes early on the first day so that we can fill in emergency information and contact forms. Spies will need to bring a packed lunch and water bottle each day.
Covid-19: as guidance is continually shifting, a full breakdown our up-to-date covid protocols will be available a week before the project.
