Lollipop will be preceded by the short film Disease (5 mins) from director Andrew Hulme. Most HIC feature films in September will be presented alongside a short film from Unthinkable Film Festival 2024 in the lead-up to the 2025 festival, which will take place from 1-12 October.

Molly is a young woman released from prison struggles to regain custody of her children. When she bumps into her childhood friend Amina the two women soon realize their only chance is to join forces and take destiny into their own hands.
