Over the next few months, writer Rupert Creed (Associate Artist at Hull Truck Theatre and writer of Hull UK City of Culture opening event Made in Hull) will lead workshops to explore and develop the storyline for this ambitious participatory project.
The Journey Home will take place in 2019 and will explore what the ideas of home and community mean to those living in Hull, whether they were born here or have made the city their home.
We are looking for people aged 18 and over to share their stories at a series of informal workshops. Participants will be asked questions such as ‘what does Hull mean to you?’, ‘how did you come to be here?’ and ‘what are the qualities and character of the city’s people?’
Join in the informal conversation at any of the following workshops here at Hull Truck Theatre:
Wednesday 7 March, 7pm - 9.30pm
Saturday 24 March, 2.30pm - 5pm
Wednesday 28 March, 7pm - 9.30pm
Saturday 14 April, 2.30pm - 5pm
Wednesday 18 April, 7pm - 9.30pm
