Now Recruiting for Work Experience 2026 with Hull Truck Theatre

Hull Truck Theatre is now open for applicants aged 14-18 (school years 10-13) to go behind the scenes and complete work experience with a week inside a producing mid-scale theatre. Throughout the week, 15 participants will spend five days exploring the departments, people, and processes that bring our productions to life. They will meet staff from across the organisation and take part in practical, hands-on activities that offer genuine insight into the creative industries. Who can apply? Applicants must be aged 14-18, and priority will be given to students based in the Hull area. There are 15 places available, and all places will be offered through an application and interview process. When is it? From Mon 13 to Fri 17 July 2026, applicants must be available for the entire week. Interviews will take place on Friday 6th March after school hours. Deadline to apply: Friday 13 February, 5pm.
