Hull Truck Theatre secures national arts grant

Hull Truck Theatre have been awarded a Weston Culture Fund grant by charitable foundation, Garfield Weston. Selected as one of 100 national arts organisations to be in receipt of the grant, the organisation is set to receive £169,677 which will enable the delivery of some exciting new projects over the coming months.

We cannot thank Garfield Weston enough for supporting the theatre in this difficult time. This funding will allow us to further develop our flagship community engagement programme, connecting audiences and local communities across the city. This funding is essential for us to be able to continue to maintain and build audiences during these uncertain times and invest in important outreach work sharing the joy of theatre with those most affected by the pandemic. We feel extremely grateful to Garfield Weston for recognising the value of our role in the local community and believing in us to bring an exciting range of new creative projects to life during these challenging times."
