HULL TRUCK THEATRE OFFERS TWO FREE DAYS OF DRAMA FOR YOUNG PEOPLE IN HULL THIS SUMMER

Hull Truck Theatre are offering two unique and inclusive experiences for young people with day-long creative workshops this summer, designed to engage and inspire. Both days promises to be a fun, safe, and relaxed environment for participants to explore their creativity. Theatre Day for Neurodivergent Young People Summer 2025 Date & Time: Tuesday, 29th July 2025, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Join us for a fun and engaging day at Hull Truck Theatre, where participants will take part in creative theatre activities, including games and acting workshops, as well the opportunity to do arts & crafts throughout the day. Create A Play In A Day Session at Route One Youth Centre Date & Time: Thursday 31st July 2025 10am – 4pm Do you enjoy performing, writing, and being creative? Are you aged 11–16, live in Hull, and looking for a fun, free holiday activity? Join the Hull Truck Theatre team to create and perform a brand-new play – all in just one day! You'll take part in fun and energetic games, create interesting characters and dialogue, learn key drama skills, and perform your play to an audience of family and friends. Both events are specifically tailored to young people aged 11 to 16 (secondary school age), and it is designed to provide a supportive space for individuals to connect, express themselves, and engage in activities such as acting workshops, games, and arts & crafts. The day will be led by the Creative Learning team at Hull Truck Theatre and Matthew's Hub, ensuring a well-rounded and supportive experience for all involved. These FREE, day-long sessions have been funded by Healthy Holidays Hull in partnership with Hull City Council. This Project has been Funded by the Department for Education. Participants will be provided with lunch and snacks throughout the day, please communicate dietary requirements when confirming attendance. Space is limited, with only 25 spots available, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Theatre Day for Neurodivergent Young People Participants must live in Hull and have a Hull postcode. Sadly, participants based in East Riding, North Lincolnshire, etc are not eligible.
