Cranswick PLC become Spotlight Partners of Hull Truck Theatre

“We’re so happy to announce that Cranswick PLC will be joining us as Spotlight Partners. Support from local businesses like this means we can continue to support the thousands of people who benefit from our engagement projects.” - Janthi Mills-Ward, Executive Director and Joint CEO of Hull Truck Theatre

Cranswick was started by a Group of farmers in the early 1970’s and since then they have grown organically and through targeted acquisitions to be a leading and innovative British supplier of premium, fresh and value-added food products.

They have 16 sites across the UK and several of those sites are in Hull, making them one of the city’s largest employers. Looking for alternative ways to be involved in the local communities – in 2018 they launched their Sustainability strategy called Second Nature, this is about challenging not only themselves as individuals, but engaging with other people in the locality and giving back to the areas beyond the factory gates.

Cranswick PLC are pleased to announce a partnership with Hull Truck Theatre in 2020. With five manufacturing sites in the city, we have a huge number of colleagues who live in Hull and the surrounding area.

Cranswick are engaging with local communities through our Second Nature strategy, and we want to explore relationships in all areas, and engage with a wider audience.”
