Join us for the launch of our annual artist development festival. This event will give artists the chance to meet other creatives in the city and to also enjoy a special preview of our Digital Shorts project: A series of short films created with local writers, including Tom Wells, Evie Guttridge, Elle Ideson, Jim Norris and Hannah Scorer.

Rehearsed Reading with Pilot Theatre - Tue 11 Jun, 7pm

Catch a glimpse of this new piece of theatre before Mary and the Hyenas roars onto the stage.

Telling the tale of the iconic British writer, philosopher, and feminist Mary Wollstonecraft and set against a backdrop of societal upheaval. With music by singer-songwriter Billy Nomates, and written by Hull playwright Maureen Lennon, this story delves deep into Wollstonecraft's life.

Grow: Connect & Collaborate Networking Event - Wed 12 Jun, 11am

On 12th June we will be hosting an informal artist meet-up. Whatever stage you are at in your career we are inviting artists to come together at Hull Truck Theatre to have a space to connect with other artists in the city, build a community and support one another. The session will be facilitated by Hull Truck Theatre staff.

Forget-Me-Not Screening - Tue 18 Jun, 6pm

This 40-minute film features the shared lived experiences of four Ukrainian refugees who sought sanctuary in East Yorkshire under the Homes for Ukraine Scheme. Learn more about their journey, challenges and adapting to a new environment during this exploration of humanity.

Be Our Guest Residency: Sharing - Fri 21 Jun, 8pm

Theatre, chips, and a pint all for £10. What’s not to like? Join us for the ‘First Time Out’ of three new performances from local artists and companies who will ‘Be Our Guest’ at Hull Truck Theatre in June. Devising new work, they will be sharing their brand-new exciting creations at the end of the week-long residency.
