What you can do to help keep safe

Stay at home if you feel unwell

If you have a high temperature (38C or above), a new continuous cough, or have experienced a change or loss in your sense of taste or smell, please do not visit the theatre under any circumstances and self-isolate in line with Government advice.

To check for more advice regarding symptoms of coronavirus, visit: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/

Likewise, if you have been in contact with a source of the virus within the last 14 days you will also need to take measures to self-isolate.

If you need to contact the Box Office to discuss your booking, please call: 01482 323638 between the hours of 10am - 5pm (Mon - Fri) or email: boxoffice@hulltruck.co.uk.

Book your tickets online

We’re encouraging all visitors to book online in order to minimise face-to-face contact with Box Office staff.

Tickets will be available to book online ahead of your visit and by booking online, not only do you minimise contact and help keep everybody safer, but you will also be guaranteed a space – as we are operating with a reduced capacity we expect performances to sell out quickly. You’ll be able to see which seats are available for you or your group when booking online.

If you cannot book online you can book by calling the Box Office on 01482 323638. We are currently working with a reduced customer service team so if the line is busy please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can

Wash your hands regularly

Please keep your hands clean by washing them at regular intervals with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. All visitors are also encouraged to use our hand sanitation stations which have been installed in various spaces around the building.

Wear a face covering

Please follow the latest Government guidance regarding masks and face coverings. Currently, this means you’ll need to wear a mask at all times when inside the building unless you have been advised otherwise and have an exemption. A face covering should cover the nose and mouth areas completely.

Remember your tickets

When booking online you will be sent e-tickets. These can be shown on a mobile device (or printed if you do not have access to a mobile device) and will be scanned upon entry to the theatre. If you do not have an email address, we can arrange for you to collect your tickets from the Box Office at a confirmed time, before the show. We have fitted protective screens at the Box Office as an additional safety precaution.

Please keep your distance

Whilst inside the building, please keep a safe distance between yourself and others at all times. We have graphics installed in some spaces to serve as a reminder, along with a one-way system to help you navigate the space safely. Staff will be on hand to offer support as and when needed.

We will be operating timed entry into the venue, before a show, in order for us to keep the Ground Floor area a safe space as audiences are entering the building.

On your tickets you will find information about when to arrive at the venue, your zone number and seat number. If you arrive at the venue earlier than required, you may be asked to wait outside so that we can maintain suitable social distancing on the Ground Floor. Once inside you should listen for your zone number and at that point make your way safely to your seat.

Please remain in your seat during the performance. Should you need to leave the theatre during a performance, a member of staff will direct you to the safest exit. If we are unable to get you back to your seat safely, during a suitable point in the performance, you may be offered an alternative accessible seat.
