We look forward to welcoming you to Hull Truck Theatre. The safety of our staff, audiences, artists and participants is extremely important to us and we aim to make everyone feel safe, secure and comfortable when visiting the theatre.
All of our safety measures are under constant review and may change at short notice.

Stay at Home if You Feel Unwell
If you have onset Covid related symptoms (including a sore throat, high temperature, shortness of breath, a blocked or runny nose, sickness, headache, loss or change to your sense of taste/smell) please do not attend the theatre.
Face Coverings
Face coverings are optional and we encourage customers who feel more comfortable wearing one, to do so.
E-Tickets
Where possible, we encourage our customers to book online and opt for e-tickets, in order to minimise contact between our audiences, front of house volunteers and staff. E-tickets can be shown on a mobile device or printed at home.
Be Mindful of Space
We ask everyone to remain mindful of the space between yourselves and others when moving around the theatre. Customers are asked to remain in their seats during the performance, where possible.
Enhanced Cleaning
The theatre continues to be professionally cleaned. Contact surfaces such as door handles, toilets, tables and chairs are cleaned thoroughly throughout the day using antiviral cleaning products.
Hand Sanitation Stations
We have hand sanitation stations located around the building. Please use them as well as washing your hands thoroughly and regularly.
Air Ventilation
The theatres ventilation system continually draws fresh air in, through the building, and immediately expels the air. As such, there is no re-circulation of air throughout the building and theatre space.
See it Safely
We are proud to be See It Safely approved by Society Of London Theatre & UK Theatre and have the Good To Go accreditation, so you can feel confident and safe knowing that we are COVID-secure and following the latest Government and performing arts guide-lines.We hope these measures give you the confidence and reassurance to visit us again soon and enjoy some unmissable live theatre.
