Standby Tickets, Returns and Exchanges

Standby Tickets: In the event of a sold-out performance, occasionally standby tickets may be available from 10am on the day of the show, to walk in or telephone customers. Standby tickets are sold at face value on a first come, first served basis.

Returns: Should you wish to return a ticket you have already purchased, we will try to sell this on for you. Please note that our own unsold tickets will take priority.

In the case of a sold-out performance, tickets returned prior to the day of the performance will first be offered to our waiting list. Any returns on the day of the performance will be available to telephone or walk in customers from 10am.

If we are able to sell on your returned ticket/s we will refund your card or credit your Hull Truck Theatre account, minus a £1.50 admin fee.

Refunds and credits will be paid to the person who purchased the tickets.

Exchanges: Tickets can be exchanged for an admin fee of £1.50 per transaction. Tickets can only be exchanged to a different performance of the same show and any increase in price must be paid at the time of exchange. If the new tickets are of cheaper value, your Hull Truck Theatre account will be credited with the difference.

Bag Search Policy

We operate a bag search policy for the safety of our audiences. To minimise any disruption this might cause to your visit, please avoid bringing large bags or rucksacks with you. We reserve the right to refuse admittance to anyone who declines to have their bag searched on request.

Left Luggage

For the safety and comfort of our audiences, large bags, rucksacks, suitcases or shopping bags are not permitted inside The Heron or the Studio. These items can be left in the Box Office. Hull Truck Theatre staff will ask to see the contents of your bag or suitcase before storing it in the Box Office. Anyone refusing to have their luggage searched will be asked to store it off-site before re-entering the building.

Our security measures are under constant review and may change at short notice. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.

Conditions of Sale

Please allow ample time for parking as latecomers may not be permitted in to the auditorium until a suitable point during the performance.
