Raised in Tottenham, Zena Edwards is one the most unique performance poets to come out of London. She has two one-woman shows, Security (2009) and Travelling Light (2011), which both toured internationally to critical acclaim.
Roseanne Watt is a poet, filmmaker and musician from Shetland. Her work is inspired by the language and landscape of her home. Roseanne was the winner of the 2018 Edwin Morgan Poetry Award, and runner-up in the 2018 Aesthetica Creative Writing Award. Her first collection, Moder Dy, will be published by Polygon in May 2019 and features poetry written in both English and her native Shaetlan.
Literary activist, lyricist, rapper and performance art poet Rufus Mufasa is a pioneering participatory artist who advocates hip hop education and poetry development accessible to all. Solo album, Fur Coats From The Lion’s Den, wasdubbed a cultural highlight by Wales Arts Review. She writes trilingually in Welsh, English and Finnish, was cast in National Theatre Wales' Storm 3, and is the first Future Generations poet in residence. Poetry collection, Flashbacks and Flowers, was recently highly commended in the Geoff Stevens Memorial Prize
