Hull Truck Theatre is delighted to partner with the Royal Shakespeare Company once again to present to you our Associate School’s Festival, in conjunction with St Mary’s College.

SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES...

Returning home from battle, the victorious Macbeth meets three witches on the heath. Driven by their disturbing prophecies, he sets out on the path to murder.

Our production of Shakespeare’s Macbeth will be performed by the Hull RSC Associate Schools Cohort, made up of 12 groups from across the city and the region.

As part of our Associate School Programme, we currently work with ten local primary and secondary schools to bring Shakespeare to life in the classroom. Our rehearsal room approach to teaching Shakespeare coupled with teacher training days and opportunities to visit Stratford-Upon -Avon to work with the Royal Shakespeare Company directly, equips our teachers with all the tools to make learning interactive, exciting and dynamic which culminates in a performance festival with full production support from Hull Truck Theatre.

Are you a school that would like to get involved in the next academic year? Please contact sarah-louise.penney@hultruck.co.uk for more information.
