A Play, a Pie and a Pint - Oddbod and the Ruin
by Morgan Sproxton
Directed by Natalie Abrahami
Danny is 15 years old and a lost cause. He's got his second ASBO, his second suspension from school and he's just blown his millionth chance to turn his life around. His reputation goes before him and there's nothing anyone can do about it.
Except perhaps Oddbod.
Morgan Sproxton is Creative Associate for Young People at Hull Truck Theatre. Her recent plays include Soldier Girl and City of Light. This is the first airing of her brand new play for adults. The reading is directed by Hull Truck Theatre Associate Artist Natalie Abrahami.
The A Play, a Pie and a Pint series are script in hand readings of brand new plays from the region's most exciting playwrights. Enjoy the play with a pie and a pint (or a soft drink!)
Pies and pints will be served from 5.00pm approx and the performance will begin at 6.00pm prompt. Pies and pints can be taken into the Studio theatre and consumed during the show.
With thanks to our sponsors Wold Top Brewery and Pie.
Hull Truck Theatre gratefully ackowledges the use of A Play, A Pie and a Pint concept, with thanks to Oran Mor and Paines Plough.
