Life is too short. Time passes, we grow old. How can we get the best out of our lives?

This double-bill of plays will make you look at life in a whole new way. You'll laugh, glow with compassion and perhaps shed the occasional tear.

From the writer of Billy Elliott, Spoonface Steinberg tells the tale of a loveable autistic girl who suddenly becomes seriously ill. We laugh at her blunt views on life, music, her friends and the world around her. Despite everything, Spoonface is one of the most vibrant human beings you'll ever see.

The second half of the double-bill is Krapp's Last Tape. Krapp is the opposite of Spoonface - he's 69, it's his birthday and he's feeling his age. He looks back on his life and the love he lost one summer's day...

Together, these amazing characters will steal your heart.

Spoonface is played by rising star Pippa Duffy, from Channel 4 Friday night comedy Pete vs Life.

Krapp is played by Alan Williams, who was a founder member of Hull Truck in 1972 and returns to the theatre for the first time in 30 years.
