First Thursday Theatre Club - Acting: Connecting Body, Voice and Imagination
First Thursday Theatre Club is a monthly drama session for adults aged 18 and over. The session welcomes people of all ages and levels of experience, offering a chance to learn, discuss, and be creative together.
Each month’s content is completely different, and participants are encouraged to take part in whatever way feels comfortable - whether you're a confident performer, a complete beginner, or someone who simply wants to join the discussion or observe.
Join Hull Truck Theatre’s Drama Worker, Sophie Huckstep, for an explorative workshop that uncovers the connection between body, voice, and imagination.
Through practical exercises, discussion, and creative exploration, we’ll discover different ways to strengthen and integrate physicality, vocal expression, and imagination—before applying these techniques to an example performance scenario.
The session runs from 10.30am - 1.30pm.
