A new Hull Truck Theatre production of the hit comedy
For one family from Withernsea, small changes are having big consequences.

Dad Martin has a milk round. But business is declining thanks to the supermarkets and his milk float is sinking out of service. Daughter Sophie is pinning her hopes on Ju Jitsu and ignoring the advances of tongue tied plumber Pete. Son Billy is dreaming of pastures new with the help of Dolly Parton.

Holding the family together is mum Kath, a dinner lady with the patience of a saint, regularly put to the test by her family - and now by her kitchen sink.

Will Martin find life after milk?

Will Dolly Parton get Billy into Art College?

Will Sophie let her temper ruin her dreams?

Will Pete fix Kath's kitchen sink and finally win over Sophie?

A touching comedy about family life and pipe dreams.

The regional debut of the 2011 smash hit play by Hull playwright Tom Wells, named England's Most Promising Playwright by the Critics' Circle. Tom is Hull Truck Theatre's new Associate Playwright.
