Mapping the City

By: Slung Low

Mapping the City is an epic theatre adventure.

It is the story of 3 characters.

It’s about a husband trying to forget his wife, a man trying to say goodbye to his brother and a young woman who can’t remember how she got here.

It’s about time stood still and a city under fast forward.

It’s about the chance to see moments that never happened but could have been.

It’s about accepting that a near empty city in the dark can be a stage.

It’s about trying to make theatre look like magic, the moon like a lantern and the whole city like a film set.

As the audience, you follow the characters around the show. You get a special set of headphones so that you can hear what the characters are saying. The action takes places on streets and in buildings all around the city. It’s an adventure. Made for you.

Please note this is a promenade performance around Hull which will last around 3 hours - please wear appropriate outdoor clothing.

The performance will start at 8pm from Hull Truck Box Office.
