See You At The Gallows is a sordid soiree full of wild, dark and ridiculous sketches, characters and songs weaved within a narrative of underlying aggression between Norris & Parker themselves. They come to Hull Truck Theatre following a sell-out run at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Their host of bizarre and downright rude characters range from the Feminazis, two kale-eating, lycra-clad women in pink wigs, to an 80s police duo tackling the infamous cases of Barry the Cannibal, the Yorkshire Stripper and the Great Wetherby Mail Thief, with nothing but bubbling sexual tension and sheer incompetence.
With live music and an original score by Chris Thomson, who worked with the duo on their show All Our Friends are Dead, and direction by comedian Steve Hall (BBC 3’s We Are Klang, BBC 2’s Russell Howard’s Good News and Sky’s A League of Their Own).
Mark Babych, Artistic Director at Hull Truck Theatre, says:
‘It’s a great alternative night out and a brilliant way to celebrate the festive season with friends – just don’t bring the children!’
