Act III

Act III is Hull Truck’s Theatre Makers Group for the over 55s. The group looks at all aspects of professional theatre, from behind the scenes to performance. Throughout the term there are opportunities to meet industry professionals, playwrights and directors. It’s an opportunity to be creative and make lasting friendships.

Act III have performed their work in the Hull Truck Studio, recorded their own performance poetry and done site specific work elsewhere in Hull. Their most recent project was Who Do We Think We Are?, 28 – 30 July, 2016.

Act III costs £40 per 10-week term and there are three terms per year: September, January and April. The group meets on Wednesday mornings.

Who Do We Think We Are?

With hyped up news and traffic reports, surreal features on Hull and its history, the classic drama serial ‘Toby Dick’, and a somewhat sexed up weather presenter, Radio Marvell invites you to turn up and tune in to a live comedy show with a distinctly Hull-grown flavour.
