Calling all actors in the Hull area (or beyond…)
Hull Truck’s PlayWrite Showcase (August 1st – 4th 2012) is a celebration of new writing from former attendees of Hull Truck’s PlayWrite course. Over four nights, with the skill of some of the finest local directors, nineteen brand new ten-minute plays will be performed. Following on from other recent new writing events, the whole event is sure to be a great success.
And YOU could play a part!
The directors of a number of the pieces are on the lookout for the following:
· An actress in her 30s (with a natural or strong West Midlands/Birmingham accent)
· An actress in her late 20s/ early 30s
· Two actors in their late 40s or early 50s
If you are up for the challenge, willing to give over a couple of nights between now and the beginning of August to rehearse the plays, and want to put yourself up on the Hull Truck stage, we’re waiting to hear from you!
