Hull Truck Theatre is launching Try Something New to enable younger audiences to see our production of Martha, Josie and the Chinese Elvis (11 February - 5 March) for free. Up to 200 tickets are available to new bookers who are under 26 years old.
Director of Communications, Ruth Puckering, said:
“We recognise that price can be a barrier to young people attending the theatre, especially if it’s something new that they’re not sure they’ll like. We’re keen to develop the arts attendees and audiences of the future, particularly with 2017 less than a year away.
“Martha, Josie and the Chinese Elvis is a heartfelt comedy about an eccentric family, a birthday party and a Chinese Elvis. It’s a perfect play for a first trip to the theatre, as well as a way to banish the winter blues!”
