Act III

Act III is an exciting project for like-minded people aged over 55. It is an opportunity for people to meet, discuss and learn new creative skills on a regular basis. Act III is a chance to share ideas with others, and the programme will change regularly introducing new art forms and ideas to reflect the needs of the group. Act III will be encouraged to attend matinee performances at Hull truck and take part in discussions and ‘Talk Back' events (Discounts available).

First Hull Trains Young Writers

First Hull Trains are the initial sponsors for our annual Young Writers competition. Through workshops, young people, aged 10-18 will be encouraged to develop their writing skills and produce exciting and imaginative work. The scripts will be performed annually in the studio theatre with a cash prize going to the winner.

Work Experience

Hull Truck offer a variety of work placements, from key stage 4 year 10/11 work experience through to students studying theatre or graduates with a genuine passion for the arts.

Due to the huge demand for work experience places, we advise that you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Year 10/11 placements last for one week only and consist of administration duties within the Inter@ct team. You will also assist with the running of Youth Theatre sessions, theatre tours for schools and our Act III group.
