The Inter@ct team prides itself on playing an intimate role within the community; working with a broad range of regional groups and organisations, as well as schools, colleges and universities. Our projects run according to a groups needs and wishes with a strong emphasis on characterisation, improvisation, games and physicality work.
Inter@ct - the space
A new designated Education space provides a great opportunity, not only for Hull Truck's education team (now also called Inter@ct) but for Schools, Local Community groups and Businesses, to be part of an exciting new venture.
Inter@ct is a versatile, purpose built, interactive work space within Hull Truck Theatre on Ferensway. Inter@ct is equipped with smart board and IT facilities for formal teaching and can also be used as an informal flexible space for practical drama workshops. Complete with changing facilities, Inter@ct can also be used as a rehearsal space.
Inter@ct have always had a dedicated outreach policy, working intimately within local schools and community groups. This will remain the case; however with the new building comes new opportunity to welcome schools and the community to experience the workings of a ‘state of the art' professional theatre.
