A PLAY IN A DAY!
Drama Skills for 5-7 year olds
3rd or 4th August 2010
Throughout an action packed day, you will develop drama skills through improvisation and role play ready for a short performance for friends and family in Hull Truck’s Studio Theatre at the end of the day.
The sessions will run from 10am – 3pm and all participants must bring a packed lunch.

“Scrumdidlyumptious” Storytelling!
A two-day workshop for 8 – 10 year olds
5th and 6th August 2010
The BFG? Matilda? Or the Twits?!
Whatever your favourite Roald Dahl story is, this workshop will blow your socks off!
Over two days you will create a small group performance using Dahl’s most exciting and explosive stories and characters.
A bubbling, frothing, marvellous mixture of stories and a performance in Hull Truck’s Studio Theatre guaranteed to send you through the roof!
The sessions will run from 10am – 4pm and all participants must bring a packed lunch.
COST - £30 per person for the two days!
ONE PLAY. ONE WEEK.
9th – 13th August
A four day devising project for 11-15 year olds.
Imagine if all the adults in the world disappeared. How would you react? What would you do? Could you run the world better than the adults did?
In four days you will devise a fun, fast-paced and thought-provoking piece of Theatre. What needs to change? What will you keep the same?
The performance at the end of the week will take place in Hull Truck’s Studio Theatre.
The sessions will run 10am - 4pm daily and all participants must bring a packed lunch.
COST- £50 for all four days.
DEVISING FOR ‘SITE SPECIFIC’ THEATRE.
2nd – 14th August
A two week devising project for 16 – 21 year olds
The site: Hull Street Life Museum
The specifics: We are looking for young actors and musicians to devise a play to be performed amongst the trains, trams and horse drawn carriages of the Street Life museum.
The sessions will run from 10am – 4pm daily.
COST - £120
