Community Arts Administration Apprentice

Duties: To support and assist with the co-ordination, planning, administration, marketing and delivery of an engagement and learning programme (providing opportunities for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to be participants, audience members and theatre makers). Will assist across all areas working practically and creatively with a broad range of groups including youth theatre, outreach and inclusion, schools, colleges and community groups.

Prospects: To progress into full-time employment.

Training: One day per week skills training with Creator College.

Requirements: No previous experience is necessary but an interest in theatre and community arts is essential. The successful candidate must have the confidence and flexibility to deal with participants who have a wide range of needs and from a wide range of backgrounds with a positive work ethic and 'can do' attitude. Applicants must be a hull resident living HU1-HU9.

Days: To be arranged (will include regular evening and weekend work).

Hours: 30 hours per week including one day off the job training.

Pay: £3.72 per hour

Age: 16-18 years (a funding requirement)

Business Development and Events Manager

Hull Truck Theatre are seeking a dynamic Business Development and Events manager.

The aims of the post are:
- To maximise income from businesses through Events & Conferencing, Sponsorship and the theatres corporate membership scheme.
- To negotiate deals within agreed parameters and be responsible, with assistance from other members of the team, for delivering on all contracts.
- To support the theatres applications for Trust Funding.
